Resilient Compassionate Hearts Home Care was founded by India B. Walker, LVN, whose vision began during nursing school while completing clinicals. Inspired by caring for others, she set out to build a company rooted in dignity, respect, and genuine human connection.
With more than 20 years in healthcare and 14 years of nursing experience, India has served in patient care, pediatric home health, psychiatric nursing, healthcare operations, and clinical leadership. Her healthcare journey began in 2005 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), shaping her lifelong commitment to quality care.
A pivotal moment came in 2014 when India helped care for her father during a serious illness. Serving alongside her mother gave her firsthand insight into the challenges families face as caregivers. After his passing in 2019, she remained committed to turning that experience into a meaningful service for others.
Drawing from both professional expertise and personal caregiving experience, India launched Resilient Compassionate Hearts Home Care to provide dependable, person-centered support for seniors and vulnerable adults.
Today, as CEO and Administrator, she leads the agency with a servant-hearted approach focused on quality, compassion, and treating every client like family.
